THE VERDIGO
Our OPTIMIST version of the Roaring 20s classic Gin Fizz, updated for the 2020s (also roaring but in a different way.) A cinch to make. And to drink.
- 6 Basil leaves
- 2 oz OPTIMIST Fresh
- ½ oz Lemon juice
- ½ oz Simple syrup
- 1 Egg white
Muddle basil leaves in a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients and shake (without ice) until emulsified, around 45 seconds. Add ice and shake again until cold. Strain and pour into a coupe glass.
